The World of Kovra
The world of Kovra is a fantasy world on the brink of an apocalypse. The heroes have fallen trying to save the world from its impending doom. Beautiful elven cities are giving way to bleak castles within volatile volcanic landscapes. Heroes are few. Dangerous monsters run amuck. Villains clash in an attempt to cause their version of the apocalypse and seize control of the remains of the world.

The Characters of The Chronicler
Sia needs a hero. To become a world-famous Chronicler he must record the journey of a talented savior of the world. But as luck would have it, the best he can find is Lyle: possibly the world’s worst hero. Lyle is a con-man, and a thief, with the full intention of long-conning this naïve scholar out of his money. The world is wrought with war, disaster, and chaos. An apocalypse is brewing. It’s a dangerous game, but he has nothing to lose. Will Lyle survive long enough to take his thief’s prize? Or is Sia right, and there is a spark of hero in everyone?
Sia
To become a famed Chronicler, Sia must locate, follow, and record the story of a great hero. But if he is to do that, he must leave the safety of his enchanted elven village and face the dangers of the world.
Lyle
This half-elven rogue, thief, and con man assumes the role of hero when Sia mistakes him for one.

A member of the part dragon race Haturi, the mysterious dark wizard hires Lyle and Sia to locate a lost magical relic that he assures them will help stop the apocalypse.

They were destined to meet as adults on the battlefield of their world's apocalypse. When fate is challenged, they meet instead as children with shared fates, the future is no longer black and white. The entire world knows Ashiyn's name and fears it. Stolen as a child and gifted as a servant to the ruthless king of the world, he is forged into a merciless weapon. He is handsome, seductive, rich, famous, and powerful. No one can resist him. He leaves death and devastation in his wake. He will not be satisfied until he gains his freedom, and seizes control of his entire world, and he does not care who he crushes on the way. When he befriends Soryn, he sends their world spiraling into an apocalypse created by twisted fate. Destiny refuses to be denied. One of them must die. A sacrifice must be made to save their world. What happens if neither one of them is willing to make that sacrifice?

Ashiyn
The handsome, rich, and charming immortal is the second most powerful man left in Kovra. He is also a brutal, violent, and cold warlord who is feared throughout Kovra for carrying out his cruel master’s vengeance upon those who resist Rhadamanthus’s rule.
Soryn
Ashiyn’s best friend from childhood, he is now the world’s last living Celestial. The servant of the dark wizard Rurik is a powerful being meant to save the world.
Rhadamanthus
The Dark King and ruler of Kovra destroys all who defy him. Part of the half-dragon race known as the Haturi, he raised Ashiyn to be the weapon for his vengeance.
Rakazarurik
(Rurik)
Brother of Rhadamanthus, the Haturi dark wizard is reintroduced as Soryn’s master. On the surface a loyal servant to the Dark King, he schemes in secret from his remote tower to defy his brother and fulfill his own plans.
Ember
Ashiyn’s half-elven son with elven Queen Harm, Ember is tasked with slaying his father.
Diredin
Ashiyn’s teacher and one of his only friends, the beautiful elf man is known for teaching the arts of refinement to the nobility. Seduction, charm, and poise are his areas of expertise.
Annalysa
Taken captive by Rhadamanthus and gifted to Ashiyn as a bed slave, this fiery spirited woman becomes his lover, friend, and confidant.
Sia
The ghost of the powerful healer and scholar is trapped within Rurik’s library. While he is bitter and angry, he has a soft spot for Soryn. If properly persuaded, he can be helpful.
Sark
Part dragon, Ashiyn’s faithful elderly servant is humble, quiet, and fiercely loyal.
Marista
The mysterious and beautiful young woman serves Ashiyn as a bed slave.
Seraphine
After a wild night together in a nearby town, this happy and bubbly woman agrees to be Ashiyn’s consort.
Harm
Ashiyn’s former consort and mother of Ember, the Queen of the Elves is now Ashiyn’s sworn enemy.
