Indie Author Spotlight - David Musser

Hello everyone! It's my great honor to introduce you to David Musser! He's a self-published author with what looks to be a terrifying read about Shadow People that he's come to talk to us about today!

Keep In The Light - What readers are saying… “The premise of this book is truly interesting. The twists will keep you reading” and “I couldn’t put it down. An excellent new author. I wonder what will be next? I hope more shadow creatures.” so please check out this Supernatural Thriller by a new Indie Author David Musser

What was your favorite thing about writing this book? Working with my cousin Megan. We were talking as corvid shutdowns came about and I mentioned that I always wanted to write a book. I only lacked one thing... Knowledge of proper use of the English Language... She had edited a couple other books and agreed to be my editor. It was something that brought us a lot closer together and was just a wonderful experience working with my cousin on this. My daughter did the cover for me and I'm so proud of what we created.

What part of this book are you most passionate about? In the book I put my next door neighbor that I lived beside as a kid. He would mow his grass so low dirt was flying and say "I'll kill it or it will kill me" I did not mention him by name by his tone and just how he acted. I loved him and it came across in the form of Grandpa Milner. Just one of those grandpa types that you love and have a wonderful life story.

Which character resonates with you the most and why? Lucky's father. Being the father of a young daughter and being able to write about love and sacrifice that parents are willing to do for their children meant a lot.

What do you find is the most difficult thing about being an indie author? What do you mean it's not just about writing? You mean I have to edit? make a cover? video promo? and marketing... I think the self promotion is the most difficult part for me.

Thank you so much for sending this in, David!
